For fast checking PWM RT8223M/RT8223P and EC by check at Pin 8
  Easier to use analog meter and adjust range to Rx1 ,see below







And then use the Red line of meter contact at Ground and black line of meter contact at Pin 8 of RT8223M/RT8223P, Then if meter show 5 ohm or neary 0 ohm
(Normal 500 ohm) that mean EC Fail. Change or replace a new one.




Example Asus K43 series.Power supply show 0.16A stale, then turn off Power supply and check by this step.
And you can use the factory checkpoint to check PWM ,if over all factory checkpoint show voltage below that mean PWM is O.K. ,but if Pin 8 of PWM
show 5 ohm or neary 0 ohm that mean EC is Fail.




But if over all checkpoint is OK ever standby voltage 3V, 5V not out that mean C Filter of output Voltage is leak, change by modify C tantalum 330UF to replace it.

So we can Monitor the Over heat of PWM standby 3V,5V (Cannot touch it) that mean EC Fail.
