Urban Meyer might be longing for the past ... a Tim Tebow Jersey past.
A LOSS TO MISSISSIPI STATE?
The Florida Gators seem to be lost without Tim Tebow Jersey. After a dreadful 10-7 loss to Mississippi State, they stand at 4-3 and 2-3 in the SEC. The Gators have lost two in a row for the first time since 1999 and it marks the first time in Urban Meyer’s tenure that they have been out of the Top 25 in the major polls.
QB John Brantley, Tim Tebow Jersey’s replacement, has the strong arm of a pocket passer, but he’s been asked to run Meyer’s spread offense, which requires a mobile runner. But Brantley’s no Tim Tebow Jersey as an athlete and no Tim Tebow Jersey as a leader so far either. He’s hit just six TD passes in seven games and the Gator offense ranks 91st in the nation.
Brantley may get there, but it will require patience. Meanwhile, as his Gators sink in the swamp, Urban Meyer seems to be looking longingly toward the West.
