I just successfully repaired one of these drives. What I did was this...
First I removed the PCB and issued the spin down command /2 then Z
Then I put the PCB back onto the drive and spun it up "U"
I then cleared the G-List with the m0,2,2,0,0,0,0,22 command
The drive came ready then I cleared the SMART with the N1 command. The drive now works fine.
